Adventurous Moonlit Jungle Walk with friends through the most haunted place of Delhi

After missing two chances finally I can able to make the plan on 21st May Saturday, on the night of the full moon it was Buddh Purnima for the Adventures  Moonlit Walk on the ruined walls of Lal Kot / Quila Rai Pithora through the dense Aravali forest Sanjay Van.. The most Haunted Place of Delhi. The organiser Ramit Da and Zubir bhai tells the sights lots of historical background of the place.

“Moonlit Night Jungle Walk: This walk usually organised by Delhi By Foot our lovely Ramit Da – The walk expert). This walk consists upon 1000years old history of the Quila Lal kot / Quila Rai Pithora & supernatural tales of mysterious Sanjay Van.”

Me along with few friends join this adventurous walk on 21st May Saturday, on the night of the full moon it was Buddh Purnima. Walk takes us a whole new way of experiencing Delhi’s oldest forests of the Southern Ridge as the skies are lit by the reddish-golden glow of twilight… Zubir Bhai and Ramit Da started with recount stories from the age of the Rajput kings of Delhi… We follow them on the walls of Delhi’s oldest Fort (almost 1100 yrs old)… of a time when ‘Fakirs’ would perform rituals to control ‘Djinns’… when Sultans & then Bandits would rule the jungles beyond Mehrauli… to the times when the British took over in the 19th century…

We refreshed the the gory scenes of multiple battles around these fort walls while the pale ghostly light of the rising full moon makes the forest trail take on an eerie avatar…. seemingly transforming the most innocent looking trees into the abode of the supernatural and scary!

This uniquely designed walk, organised by DBF only one-of-its-kind in the Delhi, offers a whole new way of experiencing this scary walk under shadow of dense Aravali Jungle through the trails of rocky ruins of Lal Kot.

I am a born traveler..... travelling is my passion. I unconditionally love to have my bag packed and carry in my back, walk on streets, hilly slopes. It gives me happiness, Joy and sense of fulfillment . I always suggest friends do not to waste precious time world is waiting for your... Pack your Bag.... Tighten your laces and Live your life Now.... and Ever... The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep.
